Bakalářská práce na téma Sociální situace romských menšin v České republice se zabývá jedním z ožehavých témat současnosti, jímž je sociální situace romského etnika u nás. Poněvadž stávající situace Romů je výsledkem určitého předchozího vývoje, je první kapitola práce zaměřena obecně na historii Romů i na historii Romů u nás. V této kapitole jsou rozebrány i dvě medializované kauzy Matiční ulice a tzv. Vsetínská kauza. Další kapitola se věnuje negativní stránce vztahu majoritní společnosti a romského etnika, jímž je rasismus. Její součástí je i pasáž zaměřena na ghetta, která jsou dalším problémem Romů. Ve třetí kapitole jsou charakterizovány jednotlivé hlavní faktory, které ovlivňují sociální postavení Romů u nás: vzdělání, tradice a rodina, dělení Romů, kriminalita a nezaměstnanost. Obsahem čtvrté kapitoly je kazuistika, která ilustruje sociální situaci Romů v naší republice. Pátá kapitola je zaměřena na postoje Evropské unie k sociální situaci Romů u nás. |

The bachelor degree thesis on the topic Social Situation of Romani Minorities in the Czech Republic deals with one of the delicate topics of today, the social situation of the Romani ethnic group in this country. As the existing situation of Romani people is a result of a certain previous development the first chapter focuses on the history of Romani people in general and Romani history in this country. The chapter includes an analysis of two cases widely discussed by the media Matiční street and the Vsetín case. The next chapter is dedicated to the negative aspect of the relationship between the majority society and the Romani ethnic group? racism. This chapter contains a part focussed on ghettos, another Romani problem. In the third chapter the author gives a characteristic of the individual main factors affecting the social position of Romani people in this country: the education, tradition and the family, division of Romani people, criminality, and unemployment. The fourth chapter is comprised of one case report illustrating the social situation of Romani people in this country. The fifth chapter concentrates on the approach of the European Union to the social situation of Romani people in this country. |
