Kriminalita mládeže je velmi závažný společenský problém, který má svůj stav, svůj vývoj i svá zvláštní specifika. Její příčiny mají různý původ, který pochází jak z podstaty samotného mladistvého delikventa, tak z jeho širšího okolí, ale mnohdy i toho nejbližšího. Nejbližším okolím mladého člověka je právě jeho rodina, která plní svou základní funkci, a to tu, aby z mladého člověka vyrostl platný člen společnosti, který sám půjde příkladem svým potomkům a ti jednou zase těm svým. Bohužel ne vždy se tyto předpoklady naplní a mladý člověk místo toho, aby žil řádným a plnohodnotným životem, tak v životě selhává a ztrácí. Takový mladý člověk, mnohdy ještě dítě, nemá býti společností trestán a stigmatizován, ale naopak má mu být podána pomocná ruka s vyslovením důvěry a víry, že i v něm, dítěti, se nalézají ty dobré stránky a že i on má právo a možnost napravit své špatné skutky těmi dobrými, a tím vykonat mnoho dobrého nejen pro společnost, ve které žije a které i ublížil, ale především pro své svědomí, a tím i sebe samotného? |

Juvenile delinquency is a very serious social problem which has its own state, course and its own particularity. Its grounds have various origins, which come from the hearth of a juvenile delinquent as well as from broad and many times from the closest background. The closest background of a youngster is family which fulfills its basic role to educate a young person so that they would grow into a full member of society and to be able to set an example for descendants who would be able to do the same onwards. Unfortunately, these assumptions do not always come true and a youngster, instead of leading a proper and full life, lapses and loses. Such young person, mostly still a child, should not be punished and stigmatized. On the contrary, they should be offered a helping hand together with expressed confidence and faith that even they have some qualities and that there is always a possibility to redeem oneself and thus do a lot of goodness not only for society in which they live and to which they have made harm but most importantly for their own conscience and for their own good? |
