Podstatou předkládané bakalářské práce je nastínit, jakou úlohu v životě člověka s mentálním postižením sehrává role ?ústavního? zařízení, kde takto handicapovaný člověk prožívá v mnoha případech nejdelší etapu svého života. Svým obsahem práce objasňuje specifičnost ?ústavního?zařízení, seznamuje s neméně zajímavými postoji jeho klientů ke způsobu svého života v prostředí, které je většinou jejich jediným zázemím. Hlavním východiskem pro naše poznání jsou osobní rozhovory s uživateli Domova pro osoby se zdravotním postižením. V úvodu bakalářská práce podává vysvětlení a deskripci teoretických podkladů zvoleného námětu, v teoretické části otvírá náhled do světa lidí s mentálním postižením. Na základě vymezení teoretických východisek zkoumané problematiky nám objasňuje informace o dělení, intenzitě a příčinách mentální retardace. Následující kapitoly poukazují na problematiku posuzovaných, mnohdy nehumánních postojů naší společnosti k člověku s mentálním postižením. Následně bakalářská práce podává ucelený přehled vývoje a současných nových trendů v péči o jedince s mentálním postižením a umožňuje nám přístup k nahlédnutí do nabídky speciálních služeb, které jsou ukotveny v zákoně o sociálních službách. V empirické části práce předkládá kvalitativní studii, jejímž cílem je zjistit, jak uživatelé sociální služby Domova pro osoby se zdravotním postižením vidí svůj život. The principle of my thesis is to show how big role is played by institutional facilities for people with mental disability in their lives. In many cases these people live there for the longest stage of their lives. The thesis clarifies the specificity of the institutional facilities and familiarizes with interesting attitudes of the clients to the way of their lives in the place which is mostly their only base. The personal interviews with the clients of ''The Home for Disabled People'' are the main points of the cognition. At the beginning of my thesis I would like to explain and describe the theory of this topic. In the theoretical part there is the view into the world of mentally handicaped people, into their different lives and into the history of the providing care. Based on the theory I would like to clarify information about the division, intensity and causes of mental retardation. Following chapters show the problems of handicaped people in the society which is often very cruel to them. The thesis provides a comprehensive overview of current development of new trends of the issue mentioned above and allows us to access to the offer of special services, which are mentioned in the Act of Social Services. In the empiric part of the thesis I tried to make a qualitative study, whose aim is to discover how the clients of ''The Home for Disabled People'' see their lives. The interpretive results and final part of my thesis are devoted to summary and reflection on the gathered and interpreted facts. |
