Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá vztahem křesťanství a ekologické etiky. Podrobně rozebírá biblickou zprávu o stvoření světa, která je pro tuto tématiku stěžejním textem. Dále se věnuje srovnání současných pojetí ekologické etiky s křesťanskými hodnotami. Na několika příkladech křesťanských světců pak sleduje postoj křesťanstva k ekologické problematice v minulosti, krátkou ukázkou současných církevních dokumentů demonstruje vztah katolické a protestantských církví k ekologii dnes. Dané téma se snaží sledovat s perspektivy sociální pedagogiky, které je věnována samostatná kapitola. Nakonec shrnuje a hodnotí závěry, k nimž dospěla: Přestože ekologická otázka nestojí v centru křesťanské zvěsti, křesťanství, pokud je pojato v celém kontextu své duchovnosti, má v sobě nezanedbatelný ekologický potenciál. S jeho využitím může pomoci i sociální pedagogika. |

This bachelor?s thesis discusses the relation between Christianity and environmental ethics. It examines in detail the biblical account of the world?s creation, as the fundamental text for this topic area. Then it follows Christianity?s stance towards environmental issues in the past, illustrated by the examples of several Christian saints. Short excerpts from current Church documents are used demonstrate how Catholic and Protestant churches relate to environmentalism today. The thesis seeks to address the issue at hand from the perspective of social pedagogy, to which a separate chapter is devoted. Finally, conclusions are drawn, summarized and evaluated thus: While the question of the environment is not central to the Christian message, Christianity, if understood in the whole context of its spirituality, contains a considerable ecological potential, and social pedagogy can help to put this potential into action. |
