Abstract: | Learning and development programs have become an internal part of CSR in the most of medium size and large size companies. This paper represents a unique research which is focused on the analysis of employees' education in Bata Company before 1945. CSR system in Bata Company was a huge complex of many parts. One of these parts was specifically defined and structurally planned education for employees. CEO of the company - Tomas Bata the Founder is a perfect example of socially responsible entrepreneur. Tomas Bata established many professionally oriented schools and education institutions. These institutions were had been attended by both - Bata's employees and children and adults from wide surroundings too. The institutions had been established in Zlin and many foreign countries too, there were Bata Company had run its offices. Bata Management System and its thoughts are timeless and inspirational even for the current business environment. |
