Abstract: | Human culture and ingenuity are illuminated in the Bata Shoe Museum in Toronto, Canada. In addition to displaying examples of footwear worn by famous people, the museum also displays a remarkably diverse array of clogs, boots, sneakers, slippers, and sandals worn by people from many different walks of life. Footwear is celebrated as a marvel of both engineering and anthropology. |
