Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou mezilidských vztahů a poskytování pomoci a podpory v rámci současné širší rodiny. Pozornost je věnována také některým dějinným událostem, které ovlivnily dnešní podobu rodinného soužití. Dnešní mezigenerační soužití se od rodin našich předků v mnohém liší. Vícegenerační domácnosti nejsou zcela běžné; často se ale stávají východiskem z tíživé ekonomické situace způsobené rozpadem manželství, to znamená, že jsou útočištěm opuštěných rodičů (především matek) a jejich dětí. Snad nejzávažnějším problémem současnosti je nestabilita nukleárních rodin, která je negativním činitelem zasahujícím také do mezigeneračních vztahů. Naopak dobrým reprezentantem mezigeneračního soužití je pomoc a podpora, kterou poskytují prarodiče rodinám svých potomků. Oblast solidárního jednání vůči nejstarší generaci již ale naznačuje existující rozdílný pohled na potřeby mladých rodin a starých lidí. Péče o starého a nemohoucího jedince není u nás samozřejmostí a solidarita, ve své nejintenzivnější podobě (jako celodenní péče) je poměrně vzácným jevem. |

Thesis deals with interpersonal relationships and providing assistance and support within contemporary extended family. Attention is also given to some historical events, which affected present form of family life. Current appearance of intergenerational cohabitation is very different from that of our ancestors. Multigenerational households aren't common phenomenon, but they often become the only way to solve economic hardships caused by marital breakdown they often become a refuge for single parents (especially mothers) and their children. Perhaps the most significant problem of present days is instability in nuclear families, which negatively affects intergenerational relationships. On the contrary assistance and support provided by grandparents to the families of their descendants are a good example of intergenerational cohabitation. Area of solidary behavior towards oldest generation indicates different needs of young families and old people. Care of an old and infirm person can´t be taken for granted and solidarity in its most intense form (form of daycare) is relatively rare phenomenon. |
