dc.description.abstract	Cílem diplomové práce bylo provést implementaci konceptu ekonomické přidané hodnoty do vybrané společnosti. Teoretická část se zabývala zpracováním teoretických poznatků, které se týkaly měření a řízení výkonnosti s důrazem na koncept ekonomické přidané hodnoty a jeho implementací do řízení společnosti. Praktická část kromě hlavního cíle zahrnovala představení vybrané společnosti a odvětví a provedení analýzy prostředí, ve kterém se podnik pohybuje. Dále v rámci praktické části byla zpracována zkrácená finanční analýza zahrnující analýzu stavových (absolutních) a poměrových ukazatelů včetně porovnání s odvětvím pomocí tzv. paprskovitého grafu. Následovalo zhodnocení výkonnosti podniku pomocí ekonomické přidané hodnoty, na které navazoval hlavní cíl práce, kterým byl návrh implementace konceptu ekonomické přidané hodnoty včetně jeho zhodnocení. Posláním této práce bylo vybrané společnosti poskytnout především určitý návod, jak lépe měřit a řídit svoji finanční výkonnost.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The aim of the diploma thesis was to implement the concept of economic value added into the selected company. The theoretical part dealt with the processing of the theoretical knowledge related to measurement and management of performance with an emphasis on the concept of economic value added and its implementation into the management of the company. The practical part, in addition to the main objective, included the introduction of the selected company and the sector and the analysis of the business environment in which the company operates. Further on in the practical part, a shortened financial analysis was elaborated, including an analysis of stative (absolute) and relative indicators with the comparison to the given sector using a so-called spider graph. Another part was the evaluation of the company's performance through economic value added, followed by the main aim of the diploma thesis to suggest and present the implementation concept of economic value added and its evaluation. The target of this thesis was to provide some guideline to the selected company how to measure and manage their financial performance in a more efficient way.
