dc.description.abstract	Tato diplomová práce se zabývá výzkumem vývoje hlavního protagonisty ve filmovém díle, tzv. charakterovým obloukem hrdiny. Teoretická část vychází z výzkumů převážně amerických filmových dramaturgů, na které navazuje. Praktická část této práce analyzuje problematiku charakterového oblouku na filmech Americký Gangster a Konzultant. V analýze dochází ke zúročení veškerých poznatků a tezí získaných v teoretické části. Cílem práce je zjištění, zda je funkce charakterového oblouku protagonisty klíčovým prvkem k tomu, aby byl film úspěšný a psychologicky dokázal diváka ovlivnit.

dc.description.abstract-translated	This thesis deals with the evolution of the main protagonist in a film. The theoretical part is influenced by the research of American film dramaturges. The practical part of this thesis analyzes the problematics of the evolution of the main protagonist in the films American Gangster and The Counselor. In the analysis you can find all of the knowlege from the theoretical part. The goal of this thesis is to find out if the evolution of the main protagonist is the key element to the success of the film and the psychological affection of the viewer.
