dc.description.abstract	Cílem této bakalářské práce je analyzovat znázornění sluchově postižených v literatuře a v díle Carson McCullersové Srdce je osamělý lovec. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na definici sluchového postižení, ohluchnutí, Americké znakové řeči a důležitých pojmů, které se váží ke komunitě neslyšících. Praktická část představí autorku románu a zkoumá zastoupení neslyšících v literatuře.
