Diplomová práce se zabývá auditem vybraných položek účetní závěrky ve zvolené společnosti. Teoretická část práce vymezuje základní pojmy auditu, auditorskou profesi, auditorské přístupy a specifika auditu neziskových organizací. V praktické části byly aplikovány teoretické poznatky u vybrané společnosti neziskového sektoru. Byly popsány základní charakteristiky účetní jednotky, struktura, poskytované služby, procesy, hospodaření a vnitřní kontroly. Na základě poznání společnosti byly určeny významné položky účetní závěrky k následnému ověřování. Ověření bylo provedeno v souladu s postupy uveřejněnými Komorou auditorů České republiky a mezinárodními auditorskými standardy. Závěr práce přináší vyslovení názoru, zda vybrané položky účetní závěrky podávají věrný a poctivý obraz finanční situace. Společnosti bylo rovněž doporučeno provedení změn v několika oblastech. Návrh změn předkládá zdůvodnění, přínosy a odhadované náklady nutné k jejich realizaci. |

This thesis deals with the audit of selected items of the financial statements of the selected company. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the basic concepts of audit, the audit profession, audit approaches and specifics of auditing non-profit organizations. The theoretical knowledge was applied in the practical part to a company in the non-profit sector. The basic characteristics of the entity, structure, services provided, processes, management and internal controls were described. Based on the knowledge of the company, significant items of the financial statements were identified for subsequent audit. The audit was performed in accordance with the procedures published by the Chamber of Auditors of the Czech Republic and International Standards on Auditing. In conclusion, the thesis expresses an opinion on whether the selected items of the financial statements give a true and fair view of the financial position. It was recommended to make changes in several areas. The proposed changes present the reasoning, benefits and estimated costs of the implementation. |
