Cílem této bakalářské práce je provedení komparace kryptoměn Bitcoin a Ripple, v návaznosti na plnění peněžních funkcí a také jejich komparaci z pohledu investic. Práce se dělí na dvě části, a to na část teoretickou a část praktickou. Teoretická část se zabývá uvedením čtenáře do problematiky kryptoměn a peněz jako takových. Konkrétně obsahuje části zabývající se jejich definicí, historií, funkcemi, či investicemi v této oblasti. Následná praktická část obsahuje již samotnou komparaci, konkrétně v oblastech technologie, uživatelů, vývoje trhu a návratnosti. Dále také obsahuje nastínění budoucího vývoje v oblasti, současně s doporučeními. |

The goal of this bachelor thesis is to make a comparison of cryptocurrencies Bitcoin and Ripple, in relation to the performance of monetary functions and also their comparison from the perspective of investment. The thesis is divided into two parts, namely a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part deals with introducing the reader to the issues of cryptocurrencies and money itself. Specifically, it contains sections dealing with their definition, history, functions, or investments in this area. The following practical part contains the comparison itself, specifically in the areas of technology, users, market development and returns. It also includes an outline of future developments in the field, together with recommendations. |
