Prvá časť diplomovej práce dáva komplexný prehľadom technológie audio a video kódekov, ktoré sa používajú pre distribúciu audia a videa prostredníctvom sietí. Ďalšie jednotlivé celky popisujú technológie streamingu, či už vo forme webcastingu, video-on-demand alebo živého streamingu. Predstavené sú vybrané proprietárne a open-source nástroje vhodné na kódovanie, distribúciu a prehrávanie audio a video streamingu. Praktická časť demonštruje 3 riešenia audio a video streamingu prostredníctvom serverových open-source riešení. |

The first part of master thesis gives complex survey of audio and video codec technologies, which are used for audio and video distribution over networks. Further sections describe technologies of streaming - webcasting, video on demand and live streaming. There are presented chosen proprietary and open-source applications intended for encoding, distribution and playback of audio and video streaming. The applied part demonstrates 3 solutions of audio and video streaming by open-source server technologies. |
