dc.description.abstract	Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na možnosti využití geografických informačních systémů (GIS) v oblasti ochrany obyvatelstva. Teoretická část se zabývá legislativním rámcem, vývojem ochrany obyvatelstva a principy GIS. Praktická část obsahuje modelové scénáře mimořádných událostí, které jsou zpracovány a analyzovány pomocí softwaru QGIS. Závěr hodnotí možnosti využití GIS v ochraně obyvatelstva.

dc.description.abstract-translated	The bachelor thesis is focused on the possibilities of using Geographical Information Systems (GIS) in the field of population protection. The theoretical part deals with the legislative framework, the development of population protection and the principles of GIS. The practical part contains model scenarios of emergencies, which are processed and analysed using QGIS software. The conclusion evaluates the possibilities of using GIS in population protection.
