dc.description.abstract-translated	This work is focused on the issue of homelessness and the attitude of inhabitants (their cognitive part on the first place) of the Zlin county toward the homeless people (the range of the sample available was n = 403). Colleted data are compared with questionnaire answers obtained from asylum homes employees in the Zlin region (n = 33) and a pilot probe MPSV. Results of this study are as follows: the major part of inhabitants older than 46 years are worried with homeless people; the sensitivity to the problem of homelessness is rather low; maltreated mothers, persons in temporary life crisis, pupils from childish homes are perceived as the most risky groups. Building up new and increasing capabilities of existing asylum homes with various service possibilities is taken as the most preferable measure concerning the homelessness problem.	en
