Security of information systems

Abstract

The text "Security of Information Systems" is the basic learning study text of the course "Security of Information Systems" of study program "Information Technology" to be taught in English language on Faculty of Applied Informatics, Tomas Bata University in Zlín. The text contains key knowledge of the field of Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) according to international standards ISO/IEC 27000. Each of standards target different aspects of information security in organizations and provide practical tools for those organizations that want to identify and manage the impact of their behavior and consistently maintain and improve performance. The textbook is supplemented several case studies and more internet links.

Učební text “Security of Information” Systems je základním učebním studijním textem předmětu “Security of Information Systems” studijního oboru “Information technology” vyučovaného v anglickém jazyce na Fakultě aplikované informatiky UTB ve Zlíně. Text obsahuje klíčové informace z oblasti řízení bezpečnosti informačních systémů (Information Security Management System) dle mezinárodních standardů ISO/IEC 27000. Jednotlivé standardy cílí na různé aspekty informační bezpečnosti v organizacích a poskytují praktické nástroje pro ty organizace, které chtějí identifikovat a řídit dopad svého chování a trvale udržovat a zlepšovat environmentální výkonnost. Učební text je doplněn několika případovými studiemi a řadou internetových odkazů.
