Analysis of Operating Management's World Systems - Bata and Toyota

Abstract

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou světových systémů podnikového řízení se zamě-řením na společnosti Baťa a Toyota. V teoretické části práce je popsána oblast ma-nagementu a teorie řízení se současným zaměřením na alternativní cíle podniku. Dále práce obsahuje teoretické poznatky v oblasti managementu se zaměřením na specifika evropského a asijského managementu a jejich srovnání. V praktické části je charakteristika a analýza systému řízení Baťa a Toyota. Práce dále definuje slabé a silné stránky těchto systémů řízení, zda jsou tyto systémy řízení podobné a zda je možná jejich aplikace do současných firem.

This bachelor thesis is dealing with analysis of the world systems of company-running focusing on companies Bata and Toyota. In the theoretical part of the thesis there is described the management field and the theory of company-running emphasising alternati-ve aims of the company. Then the thesis includes theoretical findings in the field of ma-nagement with focus on specifics of Europian and Asian management and their compari-son. In the practical part we can find characteristics and analysis of Bata and Toyota running systems. The thesis also defines the weak and strong sides of these running sys-tems, if these systems are similar and if it is possible to applicate them into the current companies.
