Práce se zabývá vývojem učitelských ústavů jako institucemi připravujících budoucí učitele, a současnou pedeutologií. Záměrem je čtenáře seznámit s historickými změnami, týkajících se především požadovaného vzdělání učitelů různých stupňů škol. Rovněž má přiblížit současnou situaci a možnosti vzdělávání učitelů. Z pohledu pedeutologie práce stručně informuje o osobnosti učitele, definuje základní pojmy, pohlíží na profesi učitele z hlediska společnosti a mapuje profesní vývoj. Z dotazníkového výzkumu vyplynulo, že současné vysokoškolské vzdělání dosahuje na jedné straně vysoké úrovně (teorie), avšak nenaplňuje jiné důležité požadavky kladené na začínající učitele. |

The work describes the development of teaching institutions, as institutions preparing future teachers and current pedeutology. The aim is to familiarize the reader with the historical changes, especially regarding required education of teachers of different school levels. It also shows the current situation and possibilities for teacher education. In the meaning of pedeutology, the work briefly informs about the teacher's personality, defines the basic terms and views the profession of a teacher from point of view of society and describes professional development. The questionnaire survey indicated that the current university education on the one hand, achieves a high level (theory), but does not meet other important requirements for beginning teachers. |
